Overview
Blue-chip stocks dominate and play important roles in capital markets. Due to the lack of considerations, current blue-chip stocks are only evaluated by market value instead of operational condition, profitability, as well as the capability to reward the shareholders. TIP launched the "TIP TAIEX+ Blue Chip 30 Index" (called "TIP BC 30 Index" or "BC30" for short) on December 19th, 2016. The methodology balances the characteristics of blue-chip stocks, such as companies with large size, good performance, and constant high dividends strategy.
