Overview
TIP Taiwan Biotechnology and Medical Care Index (abbr., TIP Taiwan BIO Index) is developed based on the TIP Taiwan Total Market Index (abbr., Taiwan Total Market Index) as the parent index, with constituents selected from biotechnology and medical care industry category from the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (TWSE) and the Taipei Exchange (TPEx), and weighted according to their free float adjusted market capitalization. The index is designed to represent the investment performance of biotechnology and medical care companies in the Taiwan market.
