Overview
In view of the fact that environmental sustainability and high dividend investing is well received among investors, Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) utilized evaluation results based on the “Taiwan Sustainability Ratings” and “Taiwan Sustainability Ratings: Environmental Sustainability Module”, designs “TIP Customized Environmental Sustainability Dividend+ Index” (hereafter TIP ESDP Index). TIP applies dividend yields weighting scheme and selects Taiwan companies listed on Taiwan Stock Exchange (TWSE) and Taipei Exchange (TPEx). TIP ESDP Index is developed to represent the performance of investing in both considerations of sustainability and high dividend payments.
