Overview
Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) utilized evaluation results based on the “TIP Taiwan Sustainability Ratings” and “TIP Taiwan Sustainability Ratings: Environmental Sustainability Module”, and designs “TIP Taiwan Environmental Sustainability 50 Index” (“TIP Environmental Sustainability 50 Index”).TIP select stocks that have a higher score in “TIP Taiwan Sustainability Ratings” and belong to the constituent list of “TIP Taiwan Environmental Sustainability index”. Constituents are subsequently selected by screening the top 50 highest market capitalization stocks in different industries, and weighted by free-float market capitalization. The index represents the investment performance of environmentally sustainable and large-cap stocks.
