TIP Customized Taiwan Smart Factor 50 Index

Overview

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) is dedicated to research into Taiwanese equity market, combined with the successful experience of “CTBC Investments” on multi-factor quantitative investment strategies in equities, TIP designs "TIP Customized Taiwan Smart Factor 50 Index" (abbr. "TIP Taiwan SF 50 Index"). The index uses market capitalization to screen large-cap stocks as constituents, which are further enhanced by combining free-float market capitalization and multi-factor performance. The weighting method is based on the free-float market capitalization and adjusted according to the strength of multiple factor indicators that belong to size, value, quality, momentum and growth factors. The index manifests the factor-enhanced investment performance on the Taiwan large-cap stocks.
