Overview
The concept of Industry 4.0 trend includes process transformation, automation and intelligence technology. To measure the performance of these stocks listed on TWSE and TPEx, Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (TIP) designs “TIP FactSet Taiwan Industry 4.0 Index” (“Taiwan Industry 4.0 Index”) with FactSet Revere Business Classification System (RBICS) as industrial classification guideline. Stocks that operate in sectors related to Industry 4.0 and pass liquidity screening are further examined based financial quality. Constituents of 30 are selected accordingly based on the market capitalization, and then weighted by their free-float adjusted market capitalization.
