Taiwan Index Plus Launches TIP Customized Electrical Sector 10% Capped Total Return Index

Taiwan Index Plus Corporation (“TIP”) launches the TIP Customized Electrical Sector 10% Capped Total Return Index (abbreviation as “TIP E-Sector 10% Capped Total Return Index”) on Feb. 22, 2021.

According to TIP, the index was customized for JPMorgan to use as the benchmark for performance evaluation of their active stock funds. The index consists of listed companies from specific TWSE industry sectors, which are Electric Machinery, Electrical and Cable, and Electronics. With the number of constituents varied and the 10% weighting constraint established, the index represents the dividend reinvested performance on the target industries with investment capping.
