Overview
TIP Taiwan Pristine Sustainability Index is derived from the TIP Taiwan Total Market Index as its parent index and selects TWSE-listed stocks that demonstrate stable profitability and dividend distribution. By integrating quality indicators with market data, such as trading volume and turnover value, the index seeks to identify high-quality stocks whose latent value has yet to be fully recognized by the market. Results from the "TIP Taiwan Sustainability Ratings" are then applied to select constituents rated BBB or above that demonstrate superior performance on material issues such as board structure and operation, and shareholder rights. The index adopts a free float market capitalization weighting method to represent the long-term investment performance of a portfolio that combines quality, non-mainstream, and sustainability characteristics.
